Hope everyone had a restful summer! Here is a list of our updates:

Teacher Experience


Classroom

  • Group Assignments - You can now choose to leave comments to the whole group or to individual students

  • Google Assignments - When co-teachers create Google assignments they are automatically given editor access (the file is still owned by the teacher on record)
  • Insert Content - New "Generate with AI" option to easily create questions about a topic using AI
  • Insert Content - Uploading read-only files from your Google Drive has moved to "Upload Attachment"
  • Insert Content - Embedded discussions have been removed
  • Homepage - Content blocks can now be inserted above the first content block of the homepage

  • Gradebook - Due dates are now visible from the header of each activity column
  • Gradebook - Set the submission cutoff date directly from the grade book

  • Gradebook - New Mass Transfer Scores button for transferring scores of multiple students from a linked section

  • Gradebook - The missing, late, and excused flags are now moved into the sidebar
  • Gradebook - The header row is shorter
  • Quick Grader - Updated UI to show due date and submitted date
  • Quick Grader - You now have the option to clear students' work when unsubmitting a student submission
  • Students - Moved actions into a dropdown

  • Student Profile - New fields for Strengths, Interests, and Career Interests in the profile header
  • Class ePortfolios - Students' ePortfolios are automatically added to a class folder in the "Shared with Me" section of the teacher's ePortfolio page
  • Class Setup - New setting to choose the default tab when opening a class for teachers and students

  • Class Setup - "Force sync Gradebook" and "Check for discrepancies" have swapped places
  • Class Setup - Set the class to access a Shared Google Drive for the teacher and co-teachers to access when uploading Google Docs and Google Assignments


Miscellaneous

  • Resources - Point score settings are not stored in resources
  • ePortfolios - New way to easily add content blocks by clicking on available white space

  • ePortfolios - Customize your name in your ePortfolios in the top left
  • ePortfolios - Updated QR code images
  • ePortfolios - The delete content icon is now a trash can

Student Experience


Classroom

  • Activities - Activities that require viewing or completion of another activity now have Next and Prev buttons, to better navigate modules


Miscellaneous

  • Basic Settings - New Strengths, Interests, and Career Interests fields
  • ePortfolios - New way to easily add content blocks by clicking on available white space

  • ePortfolio - Customize your name in your ePortfolios in the top left
