Happy Holidays! With the end of the semester, we hope that everyone will have a wonderful break!
Here is a list of our updates:
Teacher Experience
Classroom
- Content Editor - New "Screencast" feature, in the attach video option, to record your screen and microphone, when making comments for example
- Content Editor - When using the "Camera" feature to insert a video, clicking the "Minimize" button will shrink the video so you can see the page content you are responding to
- Fill in the Blank Question - New setting called "Allow and order of correct responses" allows typed-in blank answers to be entered in any order like for lists
- Assignments/Assessments - Poll data can now be accessed for polls on the Instruction page
- Assignments/Assessments - The Scores Report tool has been added to the actions dropdown on their respective list tab
- Transfer Grades - New UI update from "Migrate Student Scores"
- Transfer Grades - Incomplete submissions are also transferred when using the Transfer Grades tool
- Gradebook - The "Transfer Grades" tool is added to the action menu of the gradebook
- Gradebook - The gradebook is now auto-refreshed when marking and activity as grading complete in another tab
- Gradebook - The Average Grade row now calculates the average grade for that assignment instead of the cumulative class grade average
- Students - When creating groups you can now use the "+ Add member" option to search for available students instead of having to click and drag
- Students - UI improvements to the Group Configuration tool
- Tools - New Badges tab to award custom badges to your students
- Class Setup - "Notify Students" When is now its own section
- New Student Alerts - UI update for Birthday notifications and other minor UI updates
Miscellaneous
- Student Profile - UI update to the general user info section
- Student Profile - View students' current GPA
- Student Profile - The Contacts tab now shows parent and case carrier information
- Caseloads - New Modules tab where you can add Modules, Discussions, Conferences, Attachments, Images, and Pages
- Caseloads - New Settings tab where you can modify the title and description and delete the caseload
Student Experience
Classroom

- Matching Question - UI update to allow selecting and dropping items by clicking so, dragging using a mouse is not required
- Activities - Students will be able to save regardless of the submission cutoff time
- Activities - Extra Credit activities are no longer flagged as overdue
- Activities - Submission data will be saved on your device in case your internet connection is down
- Discussion - New toggle called "Request teacher to grade this submission" appears if you have a grade for the discussion and you can check it if want your post to be looked over for your teacher to re-grade
- Grades - Scores for extra credit activities are now shown with green text
Miscellaneous
- UI improvements to the mobile view
- Updates to email notifications about published activities
- View your School Photo on your My Profile page
