Teacher Experience
- Modules - Attachments that are links and files uploaded from a device get a separate icon in the modules list
- Scores Report - Display more data update
- Gradebook - Grading floor is applied automatically
- Setup Class - Remove Force Gradebook Sync button
- Groups - Faculty enter join any group
- Caseloads - Print schedule for a group of students
- Power Search - "show more" option shows full query results
- Profile settings - New alternate email field that can be used to login
ePortfolios
- Page title and description are now full content editors
- Remove Web Link option
- Add Upload Video option
- Inserting Google Drive content UI update
- Inserting My Library content UI update
- Upload File action creates embed
- Remove Edit and Preview option so now users can click on block to edit
- Update Delete block action UI
- Default "About Me" section block
- Drag and drop section blocks
- Share link update
Aeries Gradebook Sync
This past week the Aeries Grade Sync became very delayed due to unusually high traffic volumes with grade sync commands. We have since added computing capacity to help with the issue and all syncs are back to normal now. If you see that your Aeries gradebook is still missing some data, please reach out to us and we'll issue a Force Sync.
Some notable changes we implemented:
- Additional computing capacity to prevent this from happening again
- Internal health monitoring for our team to know when surges in volume happen and to take preemptive measures
- The force sync button is now deprecrated. Our goal is that all your grades should sync in realtime. Any delays to that are unacceptable and rather than you having to use a Force Sync button, you should reach out to support@ekadence.com instead and we will rectify the root issue.
