Instructors have the option to restrict whether students can submit work to an assignment after the submission deadline. Instructors can either set an assignment to allow submissions after the deadline, which would mark the assignment as late, or restrict any new submissions. The student is unable to mark the assignment as complete when the deadline for the assignment has passed, and the teacher must be contacted to have the assignment marked as complete. To submit late work when late submissions aren’t permitted, the student must contact the instructor separately regarding the assignment.
